Here are some pics from our visit to Lake Issyk-kul in northern Kyrgyzstan. It is the largest lake in the country and is a very popular vacation destination in the summer. After being in one of the most landlocked countries in the world, it was wonderful to see so much water! We spent three days at a conference on the Lake and then went to visit another PCV in a nearby town. He is a teacher a large elementary school...and he has a good sense of humor
